Peter Schiefer

Peter Schiefer currently serves as President and CEO of the Automotive division at Infineon Technologies AG, the largest semiconductor company in Europe. He also is a member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at SAIC Infineon Automotive Power Modules. This is a joint venture of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and Infineon Technologies AG and was established in 2018. Before Peter took over his current role as President and CEO Automotive in 2016, he was Head of Infineon Operations and responsible for the Group’s production management, supply chain, and procurement. 

Under his leadership, Infineon became the world leader in automotive semiconductors.

Peter holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany. He joined Infineon in 1990.
