Dr. Thomas Irawan

Dr. Thomas Irawan has served as President of ETAS GmbH and Chairman of the Board of Management since October 2022. Prior to joining ETAS, Dr. Irawan spent 16 years at Robert Bosch GmbH, where he held various leadership roles across manufacturing, quality, development, and engineering. His previous positions include Technical Plant Manager at Bosch Thailand and Senior Vice President of Quality Management in the Chassis Systems Control division. Most recently, he led the Driver Experience business unit within the Cross-Domain Computing Solutions division, focusing on assisted, automated, and connected driving.

As Chairman of the Board of Management and President of ETAS GmbH, Dr. Irawan is responsible for Corporate Strategy, Engineering, and Global Marketing worldwide.

Born in Orsoy, Germany in 1978, Dr. Irawan is married and has two children. He received his doctorate in Physics from the University of Dortmund, Germany, in 2006.
