Dr. Qiang Liu graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2004 with a Ph.D. in Power Machinery and Engineering. From 2004 to 2020, he worked in a Bosch JV company in China, i.e., United Automotive Electronic Systems Co., Ltd., where he served as the head of the Power Electronics business unit. In UAES,  He led the R&D and industrialization of multiple generations of electric drive system and power electronic products, including traction inverters, on-board chargers, DC/DC converters, and power modules etc. In 2021 he joined Li Auto, where he is responsible for powertrain and charging system develpment,  including electric drive units, on-board power management products, power semiconductor products, and ultra fast charging systems. Since 2025, he has concurrently served as the vice president of Li Auto and the General Manager of Li Auto’s Germany R&D Center.
