Sven Lanwer

Sven Lanwer began his career at Bosch in 2006. Over the years, he has held several key positions within the company, demonstrating his expertise in software development, strategy, and business, particularly in the field of chassis- and driver assistance-systems.

He started as a software engineer for brakes control systems and driver assistance. From 2008 onwards he was responsible for scaling up driver assistance systems for Bosch Engineering, first in the role of software project manager, later as senior manager for the division.

In 2015 Sven moved on to take over a chief engineer role working closely with a premium European OEM in the area of Chassis-, Restraints- and Driver Assistance Systems, where he also brought Bosch’s 1st ADAS Domain Controller into series production. 

In 2020 Sven took on the role as Head of Product Management and Strategy for Automated Driving and ADAS. 

Since November 2022, Sven has been serving as the Head of Business Unit ADAS Systems, Software & Services at Robert Bosch GmbH.

Sven holds a Diploma in Computer Science from University of Tübingen, where he studied from October 2000 to December 2005. His core subjects included Computer Vision, Cryptography, and Robotics, with a minor in Media Science. He also earned an Executive MBA from ESMT Berlin, which he completed in 2016.
