Stephan Durach completed his studies in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe in 1997 and started his career at BMW AG in Munich in 1998. 

Today, he is Senior Vice President – Connected Company Development at the BMW Group and is responsible for the development and operation of digital technologies and connected systems. His goal is to develop innovative platforms and data-based services that enrich the driving experience through personalized, seamless and sustainable solutions.

Previously, he held various leadership positions in the procurement of electronics and digital technologies, driving strategic partnerships and shaping the digital transformation of the supply chain.
