Dr. Hans-Joachim Stolberg

Dr.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Stolberg is co-founder, CEO & CTO of videantis GmbH. In these roles, he has driven the development the videantis processor architecture from its infancy to today’s unique unified processing platform enabling fully homogeneous ADAS/AD SoC designs. Under his leadership, more than 20 million vehicles on the road to date have already integrated videantis processor technology in both IVI and ADAS solutions built by customers like Bosch, Continental, Valeo, Ficosa, and more. Prior to founding videantis in 2004, he undertook a research stay at the NEC Central Research Labs in Kawasaki, Japan, from 1995 to 1996, was a Monbukagakusho research fellow at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2001, and functioned as a processor architect and SoC project lead at the Leibniz University of Hannover, resulting in spinning off videantis from university. Hans-Joachim received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and his Ph.D. degree, both from Leibniz Unversity of Hannover.
