Armin Prommersberger is the Chief Technology Officer of HARMAN, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. In this role, he is responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy across all HARMAN business units.
 
Armin is an accomplished technologist, serial entrepreneur and transformational leader with over 35 years of experience in the acoustics, music, consumer electronics and automotive industries. Through his roles across the Lifestyle, Professional and Automotive Divisions at HARMAN, he has shaped the company’s product direction and future experiences for the Consumer, Pro Audio and Automotive sectors. Most recently, as SVP, Divisional Product Management, Strategy & Technology he led a team envisioning the HARMAN Automotive product line of tomorrow, delivering Consumer Experiences at Automotive Grade to leading global automakers and their customers. 

Apart from HARMAN, he has served as Chief Product Officer of Music Tribe and its boutique professional audio brands including Midas, Klark Teknik, Behringer and Tannoy, as CEO of the multiphysics simulation company Konzept-X, as founder of multiple companies in CE, music production and Automotive, and as Chief Technology Officer of Dirac Research.
