Giles Mabire

Gilles Mabire is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Valeo Brain Division since October 2025. 
In this global role he is driving the development of the software-driven & AI-enabled vehicle. 

Prior to joining Valeo, he served as CTO of Continental Automotive. Before that, he had led the Commercial Vehicles & Services business unit at Continental since 2019. From 2018 to 2019, he served as CEO of Continental Automotive France SAS. His career at Continental was heavily focused on the infotainment and connectivity sector. Between 2006 and 2019, Mabire held various leadership positions there in France, initially with responsibility for a French OEM, later for all French OEMs, and finally for all European OEMs. Prior to his roles at Continental, Mabire served as System Project Manager at Siemens VDO Automotive AG from 2003 to 2006 and as Key Account Manager at Siemens VDO Automotive SAS in France from 2000 to 2003. He began his career in 1996 as a Project Engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH in France.

Gilles holds a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at ESME Sudria Engineering School, Paris, and joined an Executive Development Program in Business Administration at Ashridge Business School, United Kingdom.
