Graduating from the University of Paderborn, Christof Kellerwessel‘s professional career started 1989 at Ford R&D Centre in Cologne, Germany.

Kellerwessel held various leadership positions within Electric and Electronic Systems Engineering (EESE) as well as managing entire vehicle projects:

  • 1992: Supervisor, Security and Safety Electronics
  • 1997: Supervisor Advanced E/E Development, Dearborn/USA
  • 1998: Chief Program Engineer Ford Cougar
  • 1999: Manager, Ford Focus Plant Vehicle Team, Saarlouis/Germany
  • 2002: Manager Global Platform-Launch C1 (multiple brands)
  • 2003: Chief Engineer Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering
  • 2019: Chief Engineer, Venture Technologies

In 2020, he was appointed to the position of Director, Ford MEB Office, responsible for the cooperation between Ford and VW in the field of passenger electric vehicles.

Christof Kellerwessel is member of the supervisory board of Ford Werke GmbH since 2015.
